The Institute for Public Policy and Good Governance, in cooperation with “Luarasi” University College organized an open meeting with the Human Resources Directorate of the World Trade Organization, Mrs. Hye-Seung Lee, on Monday, October 2, 2017.
Since its founding on 1 January 1995, the World Trade Organization has 164 member states, including Albania. As such, Albania has the right to be represented in this organization.
Mrs. Lee noted that among the 628 people, part of the secretariat staff from member states, the WTO does not count any Albanians. This was also the reason for this open meeting.
The Director of Human Resources of the WTO, within the diversification of the staff components of this organization, also presented the opportunities offered by every Albanian to join the World Trade Organization, as well as the conditions to be met for each position.
Mrs. Lee spoke in particular about the method of application and the recruitment process, highlighting once again the advantage Albanians have to become part of the WTO in the context of increasing the diversity of its staff.
