Local government-citizen relationships often have varying degrees of cooperation in various local units. These collaborations can be seen in the differentiating wide range that administrative units at the local level have with each other even when they have similar social-economic characteristics.
In this framework the project is focused on one of the municipalities with high economic potential development in the country but with social welfare and economic potential indicators pozitioned almost at the last levels nationwide.
The proposed project “Citizen Budget. Increased transparency and active participation in the Municipality of Lezha “aims to sensitize the citizen on the importance of local development policies and local budget responsibly and to enable citizens to monitor the implementation of the budget in Lezha and can advocate civic rights responsive budget governance at the local level.
