First meetings regarding the “Improving Deregulation and Fiscal Efficiency in Albania” project.

IPPM is engaged in a project to support the Government of Albania in further strengthening the implementation of the Integrated Planning System , which links strategic policy planning with the budget planning and public financial management more broadly. The main objective is  to improve the delivery of government services towards enterprises, and as well, to increase formality throughout sectors, and payment of taxes, through the ease and elimination of procedural bottlenecks.

In the framework of “Improving Deregulation and Fiscal Efficiency in Albania” project  PMCG represented by Mr. Alex Aleksishvili and Mr. David Lelashvili and IPPM represented from Mr. Arben Malaj and Mr. Ledjon Shahini, on 1 September 2016 had a series of meetings with representatives of some State Institutions.

The first meeting took place at the Ministry of Finance with Minister Advisors Knidi Bashari, and Etien Xhafa. The meeting  focused on a general discussion on the achievements of the current government to related areas with this project and MoF priorities.


The second meeting took place with the Minister of MEDTTE, Ms. Milva Ekonomi. During this meeting were discussed various topics related with the improvement of the business situation in Albania like: shortening the time for obtaining building permits, reducing the number of the licenses, improving the concept of one stop shop initiative in Albania etc…
